Monroe Nichols IV, Born September 24, 1983, Is an American Politician and Former College Football Player. 

He Has Served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives From the 72nd District Since 2016. 

Nichols Is the First African-American to Represent the 72nd District. 

In July 2023, He Announced His Run for the 2024 Tulsa Mayoral Election, Not Seeking Re-Election to the House. 

Nichols Graduated With a Degree in Political Science and Economics From the University of Tulsa. 

He Co-Founded the Nonprofit ImpactTulsa in 2014. 

In 2016, He Became the First African-American Elected to Represent Oklahoma House District 72.
